Saying goodbye to more than 15 years of research and development.

Xeralabs operated for over fifteen years as a private technology lab focused on research in narrative simulation, distributed systems, and immersive environments. Its work, mostly bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), resulted in a series of projects exploring the intersection of interactive storytelling, artificial intelligence, and decentralized simulation architectures.

One of its most significant legacies was the development of the NI2S project (Narrative Interactive Intelligent Simulator), an experimental platform for intelligent narrative simulation, whose structural principles remain unpublished. The development of NI2S encapsulated much of the knowledge gained by Xeralabs in the field of complex interactive simulation.

The dissolution of Xeralabs gave rise to ARW, the team currently developing The Corporate Wars. This project represents the first open technical implementation of some of the foundational principles of NI2S, including distributed simulation testing and the design of a structured large-scale narrative framework.

Other internal tools such as XGDESK, developed by ManOguaR (lead developer), have been cited in academic contexts for their approach to distributed graphical environment modeling and simulation management tools.

Despite its limited public visibility, Xeralabs left a lasting mark on the development of new narrative architectures and emergent simulation models, laying the groundwork for a new generation of interactive environments.
